1. Fuel up for the day with breakfast at The Bakehouse

Considered the best breakfast in Queenstown

Early birds rejoice. Open from 9am daily, The Bakehouse is the perfect place to enjoy a bountiful breakfast – the most important meal of the day, after all. Whether you sit inside, outside on the terrace or down by the creek, this sublime venue is hard to leave, but with so much to explore, you can always return later in the day.

2. Discover Ayrburn’s hidden waterfall

A hidden gem of Queenstown

Order a coffee before you leave The Bakehouse and tighten up your laces. Take the 15-minute walk up to Ayrburn’s very own waterfall and peloton wheel. The cool mist from the waterfall is sure to leave you feeling refreshed for the rest of the day.

3. Seek shade in The Barrel Room with a guided wine tasting

Local wines in an out of this world setting

After all that walking, escape to the cool embrace of The Barrel Room with a guided wine tasting. These signature tastings take place daily, on the hour from 11:00am until 17:00am. Bookings are recommended, but we’ll always accommodate walk-ins where possible. Bound to become your favourite tipples, grab a few bottles for your wine rack from our retail spaces in The Manure Room and R.M Prime Produce.

4. Stop and admire our flower garden

Blooming wonderful, all year round

Truly something to behold, there’s something sprouting in the Ayrburn flower gardens year round. With beautiful bunches picked daily and available to purchase at R.M Prime Produce, why not gift a bouquet to a loved one? Although we wouldn’t blame you if you kept them for yourself.

5. Share our signature lamb shoulder in The Woolshed

An iconic Arrowtown dish

When lunch or dinner calls, the Woolshed’s renowned roasted lumina lamb shoulder is utterly irresistible. Best enjoyed with loved ones and a generous pour of Ayrburn’s Ten Acre Pinot Noir. And be sure to leave room for dessert, the tiramisu comes highly commended.
