History & Heritage

History, legacy and protected heritage buildings

Established in 1864, Ayrburn was one of the first and most successful farms in the area continuing in production until the early years of the 21st century. Revitalisation and regeneration of this history, legacy and protected heritage buildings has been a core experience that we want to share with you as we continue the story of Ayrburn. Throughout the precinct you’ll find little touchpoints for you to engage as little or as much as you like with our rich, colourful and successful history.
