Ayrburn's Winter Wonderland 2025

Back by incredibly popular demand, Ayrburn’s Winter Wonderland returns from Friday, 27 June to Sunday, 27 July.

A precinct-wide display of world-class Christmas lights and seasonal specials awaits. And who could forget the addition of an ice rink to The Dell — because frankly, what Winter Wonderland would be complete without one?

As the sun sets on 27 June, the precinct will come alive with a world-class display of Christmas lights — the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, no less. Stroll under the glow of the lights with a hot chocolate in hand, and perhaps pause a while to roast marshmallows around our braziers. Entry to wander through our now-iconic light display is warmly offered free to all, inviting everyone to share in the wonder.

Then, from 28 June, lace up your boots and skate beneath Otago’s winter sky with daily sessions on the rink — perfect for the young, and the young at heart. For the duration of the month, you can also expect daily Après Ski Happy Hour in the Manure Room, live music, and festive spirits aplenty (pun absolutely intended).

With the precinct sure to bustle, we kindly encourage guests to secure reservations for ice-skating and dining to ensure a seamless, joyful experience.
